Good News…I had a wee online spend up a few days back, which at any normal time would have been reasonably safe due to the fact
that the husband is always away being an eftpos Gypsy, four days of every week. Which means
that I can have goodies delivered and then spread the wearing of them out over
a few days, so he never really catches on to the lots of new things.
This I tell myself keeps him happy and
makes me feel less guilty about these small but delicious purchases. And really how fun is it to receive
parcels in the mail?!
Bad News…. He is home all this week so was
here when 6 different parcels arrived from our long suffering courier (you
would be long suffering too if you had to deal with our mental but harmless
dogs every time you tried to walk in our gate)
When the first parcel arrived and he said
“How much did that cost??” I of course took $20 off the price (as you do!) I
had however underestimated his cunning and his ability to check our Trade Me
watchlist..bugga..which told him the correct price. He was shocked that I would lie to him and now informs me he
won’t believe anything I say from now on (so dramatic!)*eye roll
I didn’t factor this in when I keep hitting
‘buy now’ and his frowny eyes really have taken the sparkle out of all my new
things *sigh
